Ingredients
Sauce
- 1kg beef mince
- 2 onions
- 1 long red chilli (sliced) / optional
- 4 garlic cloves (whacked and sliced)
- 440g Whole Peeled Tomatoes
- 440g Condensed Tomato Soup
- Mushroom
- 1 red capsicum (chopped)
- Broccoli (into small segments)
From the Pantry
- ½ cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 8 Bay Leaves
- Oregano
- Marjoram
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- Fennel (from grinder)
- Splash of red wine
- 1 chicken stock cube (diluted in 1 cup of water)
- Pasta, to serve
Method
Method
- Heat oil in pot, saute onions and garlic (and chilli if using). Crank up heat and throw in mince, while mashing and stirring, pour over Worcestershire Sauce. Stir until Meat is brown.
- Add whole peeled tomatoes, condensed tomato soup, Bay Leaves, Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Fennel and stir.
- Add Capsicum, mushroom, Broccoli, splash of Red Wine & Chicken Stock.
- Simmer for at least 30 minutes. Serve with al-dente pasta.
