Date Bites

A great snack for lunchboxes (nut free)


  • 130g Dates

  • 15g Sunflower Seeds

  • 15g Ground Chia Seeds (white or black)

  • 15g Ground Sesame Seeds (white or black)

  • 13g Cocoa Powder


  1. Starting with the 3 Seeds (Sunflower / Chia and Sesame), blitz in a food processor with a small base. A nutribullet or the like works well here.

  2. Add dates and cocoa to the mix and process until well combined. You may need to scrape down the sides a few times, depending on the food processor used.

  3. You can shape this date and cocoa mass however you like. Press into small chocolate moulds, or into a rectangular pan – place in fridge and cut once solid.
